Scrum might be a familiar word if you’re into Rugby, but a Scrum Team works similarly to the formation of Rugby players and its name is derived from the game too. Typically a Scrum Team is a team of 5 to 11 people who share the various tasks and responsibilites related to the delivery of the project/product.
It’s also a group of self-motivated individuals who work collaboratively towards successful product delivery. A high level of communication is expected between the Scrum Team members to ensure they are focused on the same goal while maintaing mutual respect throughout the process and share a common set of norms and rules.
