What makes a great Scrum Master? A lot of things play an important role in being great at being a Scrum Master and here are some of the main ones:
1) Being Focused
To do any sort of work you have to be focused otherwise it won’t get done and that applies espeically to this because not being focused can let your team down too, if you struggle with focusing maybe tell another member of your team and confide in them for any support they can suggest or offer.
2) Being Respectful
When you’re in a team you have to be respectful towards each other because if you’re not it’s pretty certain that the team will not get along and it will fall apart, plus it’s common curtasey to be respectful of everyone and everyone so this is definitely a must.
3) Being Committed
With most projects in any area of your life, it will take a lot of time and effort to put it together and make it work so you have to be committed, you could even write up schedules to make sure you’re getting the most out of yours and everyone else’s day (it’s also a good idea so everyone knows what they’re supposed to be doing too).
4) Being Open
This could be for both the scrum team or just in general, but being open is an incredbily rewarding value of scrum because not only will you be more of a people person but you can really bond with your scrum team and make friends with them which will also build trust making it a great team.
